Q: When will MyLivePromoter be available?
A: MyLivePromoter is available now! You can download a free trial version.
Q: I don't have access to my MySpace email anymore. How do I still use MyLivePromoter?
A: If you don't have access to your email that is registered with MySpace (the email you use to log in with), just simply sign up on MyLivePromoter with an email address that you can access. Once you get your confirmation email which contains your password to sign into the MLP Website, go to the Support Forum (www.mylivepromoter.com/support ) and open up a HELP TICKET. Give them the email address associated with MyLivePromoter and the email address you want it changed to (in this case, it would be the MySpace email address).
Q: I'm a promoter / record label / multi-account band, can I use this for all my accounts?
A: As of right now, you can only use MyLivePromoter with one account. You will have to purchase additional licenses for additional accounts. We do, however, give special discounts for those that are promoting several bands, acts or businesses. Email billing@mylivepromoter.com for further details
Q: Can I cancel my account?
A: No, we do not cancel accounts. If you wish to not use the service, just simply don't log in.
Q: Can I receive a free copy of MyLivePromoter if I put a banner ad for you guys on my site?
A: No. As we are promoting a promotional tool, we intend to use MyLivePromoter as a testament to its purpose.
Q: I've purchased the program, am I supposed to download anything else?
A: Nope! If you've downloaded the trial version and you've paid, then just log in like normal. Remember to constantly check the forums for updates as we are constantly improving upon the program.
Q: Do I get unlimited technical support?
A: We give technical support via our Support Forum only. Our technical support is limited to license holders of MLP per account. For example, if "Bob" signs up with MLP and pays for a license, only "Bob" will receive technical support. Unfortunately we cannot give technical support to those that may be using MLP under "Bob's" license. We have taken this stance because of a few unscrupulous individuals seeking free licenses.
Q: What are the minimum system requirements for running MyLivePromoter?
A: MyLivePromoter runs on Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/Vista.
Q: I have a Mac, can it run on a Mac?
A: Yes! It can run on Macintosh! To do this, you will have to download and install VirtualPC. To get it, click here.
Please Note: While several users of MyLivePromoter do run VirtualPC for their macs, we cannot give technical support for third party vendors.
Q: What if I have an Intel Mac?
A: Perfect! Intel Macs can run windows on them. You can download a free copy of BootCamp from apple.com, and put windows on your Mac. From there, you can run MLP.
Q: Why is there a Shipping and Handling charge if you're not actually shipping something to me?
A: This charge is a Paypal recovery fee that is used so that we can maintain doing business with Paypal.
Q: Are you affiliated with MySpace?
A: No.
Q: Once I buy MyLivePromoter, do I have it to use forever or do I have to keep paying?
A: Once you purchase MyLivePromoter, you are able to download all updates unlimited and post on the support forum for 1 year. After 1 year, you will have to purchase an additional license to obtain additional updates and post on the support forum.
Q: How do I renew my license?
A: Once your license is up (after a year), you can renew your license by going to the DOWNLOAD section. Scroll to the bottom, and from there you can pick which license you'd like to renew. Just enter in the email address that was registered with MLP and it'll upgrade you automatically.
Q: Does MyLivePromoter offer refunds?
A: No. Our Terms of Use state that MyLivePromoter is not obligated to issue refunds, in part or in whole. The only circumstances under which we will issue a refund would be a payment processing error (i.e. if a duplicate payment was processed).
Q: I signed up with the wrong email address or I would like to change it, but I don't see where to! How can I change it?
A: If you have signed up with MyLivePromoter with a wrong email address or need to change your current one, please go to the Support Forum (www.mylivepromoter.com/support ) and open up a HELP TICKET. Give them the current email address you are using and the email address you'd like to change to. They will quickly change your information for you. MyLivePromoter has the final say whether an email can be changed or not.
